Let's discuss such phenom here. Blue Tat's dream post made me remember something I had wanted to mention on a different Shawdow People thread, but it is long-since gone (or on another tribe).
I don't see Shadow People. Because what I see is in full color. & I truly don't believe they are ghosts, because it doesn't fill me that rush of adrenaline that spiritual vibes often do.
They come to me just like the Shadow People do for so many others, but they are just like real people. Just wandering around my periphreal vision.
Is it like this for anyone else?

Sun, June 5, 2005 - 4:18 PMive seen "things" in colour i have related to being "ghosts" as sutch....it was a long time ago (15+ years...i have a BIG mentail block about alot of things that happend back then) and i dident get a "bad" feeling like i did with the "shaddow person experence"....the shaddow person experence has convinced me it wasent a ghost and dont ask my why but i dont believe it to be from another planet either........ the lampost lights are going out most nights now when i walk/cycle past them too and its started to happen to a close frend of mine as well...... ick

Sun, June 5, 2005 - 5:42 PMI understand. When I am in an area that's spiritually active, I can feel it. My heart pounds & my blood seems to boil. I get chills & then feels whatever vibes the spirits send my way.
But when I see these people "out of the corner of my eye", they are never in the shadows. They're walking past the door down the hall, they are standing just out of my focused sight. But they are in perfect color, maybe not solid, but they don't give me those feelings of spiritual energy.
I do sort of believe the theory that they are a ripple in the parallel universe. Kind of like "The Others", only not ghosts. Sometimes you see them, sometimes you don't. But they're always there, & sometimes even we intrude on their time without realizing it. & they wonder about us too. -

Thu, June 23, 2005 - 2:07 PMForgot all about this one, but there are some "recordings" that just seem to be etched on time or the universe, where they just go through repeated motions, never interact and are basically a video that you see when eyes are a certain way, like viewing thos drawings that have the inner picture that you don't see, until your eyes hit them just right. By the way, I suggest doing those things, as they strengthen your eyes for seeing alternate world stuff a bit better. Kinda like lifting weights with your eyes, lol.

Actually, it was happening after I got off work at night, summer or winter and I think it had to do with letting all the stress out for the day, right about the point when I crossed the street, as that was when I started feeling relief. Just like a burst of negative energy floating away, that apparently had a path.
Would like to hear on this paranormal moths though, hmmmm?

Thu, June 9, 2005 - 9:40 PMI have often seen people walking in my periphreal vision, but have also seen people is real color as if they were there.. But when I was a child I often saw a shadow man, he was stand in my bedroom doorway at night and seemed to fill the casement. I have seen something similar to that a few times as an adult.
What always gets me is when I have a dream... then sometime later.. it will start happening and I get that deja vu feeling and recall things step by step as they play out right then and there.. that's always sorta creepy. -

Fri, June 10, 2005 - 11:05 PMSeeing people in color is a common thing for me. As I see auras of spirits that come around me. Some people dispute it, saying that spirits don't have auras.(If they only knew!!). To me that is like saying there is no one else around us, without taking in the big picture as we see, think and understand things in the three dimensional. People tend to over look that there is also two dimensional. Just a thought to ponder!!

Thu, June 9, 2005 - 10:24 PMFreaky thing from the other night, as I was thinking on all this stuff while in the pretty much dark. Anyway, had a bad feeling, saw an unnatural spiked looking shadow at the top corner of my bathroom door, so did a banishing spell of sorts. I was questioning whether it was the corner of the eye stuff inside at the time or just seeing shapes that could be explained by the mind extreming things at the time and was in doubtful mode a bit. So.....I finished and it zooms down from the spot at an angle, coasts around the wall at the bottom side, takes form and prances off in cat form for 6-8 feet to the door of the bedroom and vanishes. NO doubt, whatsoever, at all now on the dark spirit stuff! As far as the Shadow People, they are a whole other deal, as previously stated.

It sort of annoys me that every "entity" that people talk about are more "advanced", more spiritually mature, more capable, have more options, and have more "light" comming out of them.
If the "shadow people" are not "shadows" of something on our "reality" or a partial gimpse into theirs -
- its good to know that the "darkest" beings are not "us"... well thats not making me feel entirely comfortable about it - but you know what I mean.

but when somting happens to you.......the more you dig the more you find i guess... a few people have said the more you open your mind to things the more you will be showen..so far it seems to be right on the nose....
but for example if a tea cup just falls of a bench theres a lot of ways to explain it , normal or paranormal....
what i find intresting is that soo manny people have (or like to think) they have paranormal experences , um hello it aparently isent a GOOD thing to be considered mental tho.
And to alot of narrow minded people anything unexplaned means the person who saw/experenced it is a wacko..
None of my real-life frends know i see frigging shaddow people , fuck they would want to lock me up.. its bad enough turning blue (as ive said somewhere before)...so atleast on the net seem its not realy one on one with the person, anything typed can be taken seriously or not...
thats the only reason i have looked into what i saw more........ -

If ya run, how can ya interact and see it. Fear is what the dark ones feed on, you actually draw tthem closer to you by reacting in fear and the lighter ones understand, so try not to scare you at all by avoiding you. Basically, ya got it backwards to your detriment. Face the fears and find the light and push away the dark.

Thanks for your advice about facing our fears.... you have opened my eyes.
years ago I used to "see" and experice alot of "strange" things. But I was scared and did not understand them and I "ran away" I learned how to numb my mind with alcohol or drugs to the point where the door has almost shut even without them. I recently have decided it is time reopen the door.
Anyhow I used to see shadow figure's form the corner of my eye, in a house I grew up in. They were only half our hight though. I belived them to be demons.... -

They will act friendly and say there friendly or act friendly.. after you give them trust they turn agenst you.. and you ahve an demond on your hands.. its like an open door Ouji board..
OH one thing I can always pass on seeing horror and terror in people, and people with an evil soul who just wants to hurt others. so most always i don't look people in there eyes when i first meet them, it's like i can see inside of them
I still see things on people I see mostly auras and shadows around them. I can at times read people eyse, like tarot cards
I;m not realy scared of the unknown but at times i do get frightend but thats short lived. you cant show them any fear. that means they win.
J it is good to reopen your mind and let your natural physic come back in.. but you need to train your self to handle it and do it slowly.
i know when i usd to smoke lots of cronic and drink heavly i did that mainly for to shut them out somewhat,but they always haunted me when i was high and unable t handle it. when it comes to ghosts unless its an child or someone lost. i realy bothr with them and i leave them alone unless there trying to hurt someone..
I saw things in the past i could write an huge book just about ghosts shadow people, moving objects and ben who died and haunted the prono shop i worked in.. he wasmy buddy and he protected me.. like attack people what tried to rob teh store...

Sat, April 15, 2006 - 3:12 AMIts been nearly a year now and no more shadow people.... something someone offline said sort of helped it stop... apparently clear glass does something to fuck up frequency or something (even light poles don’t turn off when I walk past them anymore)... sorry cant explain it but since I’ve had my septum pierced and have a 11mmm glass plug in it things have settled down... saying that I’m about to remove the glass and see if it has any affect or not....I think the glass is fucking up astral travel ….. -

Ive come to live with whats in my house...seeing, as they were here first and pose no harm.

I don't know how much that may be related to how psychically attuned I am at the time. But I had not seen them for probably years until LAST NIGHT, after I did a healing session on someone. He had spirits, entities, vampires, influencing his field, attached to it, and I released them from him, gave him a bubble of protection. Then, when I went to bed, in the semi dark, I saw the whole room filled with shadow people. It had to be the entities I had just released. I took the attitude of strength, feeling that if I had felt it work so well with him, I could get rid of them from my personal aura and space as well. It took longer to do, interestingly, but it did finally work. I didn't get scared, kept an even keel and I was glad about that. -

My dad used to butcher them for our dinner - so it just goes to figure that there would be a phantom chicken running around! Ive seen shadow people too. They usually leave me alone, although one followed me out of her house in Ireland. I think she liked me and wanted me to stay. -

Wed, July 12, 2006 - 6:24 AMAbout three weeks ago my 18 year daughter woke up in the middle of the night with the sensation that something was watching her. She then looked in the corner of the room and saw a dark figure standing in the shadows. She then suddenly felt feelings of surprise and couriosity. She said the feelings she was experiencing wasn't her own it was the coming from the figure. It's was surprised that she was able to see it, know it and not fear it. That's why it began to fear her. She then began to explain how she focused on it to get a sense of it's reasons for being there.
She said by not fearing it allowed her to have ability to "feel" it out and it was very easy to do.
She knew that it wasn't the spirit of a ghostly soul. That it was something much more dense and phyical and had a reason for being there. "HER" It was studying her and yet afraid of her as well. She understood that it viewed her as a superior being and much more powerful than it and feared that her power. She then smiled at it and went back to sleep.
That morning she was home alone and she felt it's presents again. She then heard a squeeking noise coming from her room. She knew that sound was her bed and it was being shakin' violently and she knew that the figure was dilberately making itself known.
She said that it pissed her off and she stormed to her room to comfort it. To her surprise she couldn't see it, but she felt it and looked directly on bed to where she felt it's presents.
She told me that she knew it was there looking right at her and again was surprised at her anger and aggression towards it and she knew that it was afraid of her, but as soon as she left the room it began to shake the bed again which it continued to do throughout the day.
Later that evening she was walking down a dirt road near her house and when suddenly felt it behind her again and at that moment she felt the intense energy of evil and felt that something very bad was going to happen, not to her personally. It was a warning of something bad on a global scale and that this dark figure was letting her know. She then heard something very big stomping on a pile of sticks in the woods as if it were trying make itself known and unquestioned. When she looked in the woods she couldn't see it, but could clearly hear it.
I'm not quite sure what she means when she says that it wasn't a spirital enity, that it was something much stronger and sent to her specifically from somewhere else so that it could relay this warning. She also knew that it wasn't a positive force it was a negitive force that knew exactly who she was. After that it left and she knew that it wouldn't be back, because it had done what it was commanded to do.
Now to know Kaytea is to know that she is a powerful person with a very strong ability to rationalize what she's experiencing in the realm the etherial and she has always been that way sence she was about 18months old. It a natural gift of knowing that the realm of spirital entities exists with us in our physical surroundings. She doesn't fear anything that exists in the physical or non-physical world whether it be good or bad.
I told her about this thread topic and she said that those in the shadows who make their presents known to you are there for a reason and it's personal. It's important to let go of your fear of it, because it fears you more. By doing that you will be able to sense what it wants and how it views you. Don't mis-interperate your emotional reaction, because you might be feeling what it's feeling not what you actually feeling. That energy is much stronger in them than it is in you. It's almost pure emotional energy that is physically based and can control it's own ability to be seen or not seen. Why they are here she doesn't know, but there are millions of them and it has something to do with the end of days written in the Bible. She isn't a religious person, but her souls purpose is clear and understood and her spirital abilities are part of her purpose. I hope this helps in understanding the shadow figures that are also purposed in the here and now.

I overexerted my self to the point of madness. Well madness is not entirely correct because reality had changed for ME some how. Any ways less about me I have searched around the net for similar experiences with my interpretation of shadow people. And I guess pie is the closest yet, i saw them as real people with sun glasses, dark sun glasses. while walking down a street in town i noticed many people with sun glasses, not smiling only staring and following me. Unsure i reached up and snatched a pair off some ones head and snapped them in two. They were rel as was the person and i was quickly omitted to a mental hospital. While on the ambulance i could see out the back window there was a truck with a man and woman wearing sun glasses , normally l wouldn't notice but the followed me the whole Trip which was 1hr.Dont think that I'm delusional I know sun glasses are not evil. Just i still see them from time to time standing and staring.

Sun, November 26, 2006 - 8:11 AMMy family had a ghost encounter in a castle we stayed at in Belgeim. We had our almost 2 year old son with us, and it attacked him first. But since then, he's been telling me about all the shadow people he sees. He'll point them out, and I won't see anything. I never used the term shadow people, so I have no idea where he came up with this term. -

Mon, November 27, 2006 - 11:34 AMif you look closely at black and white photograph... you see that there is an image of white highlights whos depth is defigned by the dark areas... the definition is made by the shadows...
if you could move just the ligh areas to a blank sheet of paper... the image either becomes flat or dissappears entirely...
if you move the shadows to a blank sheet of paper... the depth remains and life/movement can be percieved in the resultant image...
this is the type of visual perception of the impression that is left by these 'shadow people'

Tue, August 14, 2007 - 3:16 PMI had a shadow person in my other apartment. It showed up one night while I had a guest over for a costume fitting. As I sat on the floor cutting the hem for her skirt I looked down my hallway. There at the other end it (he?) was standing. I knew I wasn't seeing things because every time I looked down the hallway I got this hair raising vibration run down my spine.
I had a pagan friend come over who is further along in her studies than me and helped me get it out of the house. Thank Goodness. Havent seen it since then. I suspect that it was possibly attached to the client that came by for the fitting. -

Types
Category 1
This category falls into drugs use, seizures, and other mental issues. This category covers a very vast description and is known to have descriptions that may or may not match what others describe in category 2 and 3. Category 1 actually may not be considered shadow people at all due to the non consistancy in the descriptions.
Category 2
This category falls more into the ghost and spirit category. The descriptions in this category are as follows: non human shaped shadows or masses of human shaped shadow people in one place, insect shadows, animal shadow people, and women shadow people. These are mostly see thru shadows. Category 2 shadow people tend to be drawn more to a location than a person. It is common for this category to actually try and not become seen. Light may affect this group.
Category 3
This category does not fall into the ghost or Spirit category. This category has only 2 types of shadow people, One tall shadow man and several small hooded "twin" style shadow people. These are usually seen non see thru however they may be see thru. This category is more drawn to a person rather than a place, this category may actually be drawn to a certain spirit or ghost as well as humans. This category tends to not care about being seen. Light has no effect on this group.
